Eric had assumed she would be. Not only does healing so fast wreck havoc on her metabolism, but vampire blood tends to increase one's appetite. He'd ordered a great deal of food for a reason.

Once Dawn is settled with her food, Eric sits on the couch with her. Normally, he'd have a bottle of Trublood while she ate, but he'd consumed enough fairy blood that not only is he full, he's high and trying to focus. Eric likes trouble. They both know it. Trouble keeps his life interesting.

He quirks his eyebrows up at her apology and shakes his head. "You needn't apologize, but I do think it's about time you tell me why the fae wanted you." He has some theories, but they don't make any sense because he doesn't have enough information.
