[ Gus can only imagine. He knows lying still for the PET scan had been near insufferable. The doctor couldn't get the words out fast enough for Gus. Even if he'd had to tell him that the cancer was still there, Gus would want the waiting to be put to an end. He's glad to be able to do that for his parents and Annie as well.

He catches her, arms wrapping around her, tears in his eyes as well. He looks up to his parents, who are hugging and crying as well. He is still weak. He gets tired quickly, but that weakness and that fatigue will get better. He'll put on weight and he will get better and that's the important thing here. He nods at her question. ]


It really worked. I'll always have to have PET scans to make sure but...the doctor is optimistic that cancer and I are no longer friends.
