She gives him a goofy, loopy grin at that. She is clearly not out of his league. She's here. She likes him; she's pretty sure that's she's going to (if she isn't already) fall in love with him. Besides, she's not sure how he can say that. He's brilliant, funny, kind, good-looking and incredibly sweet. All the other girls are just dumb and, apparently, hungry.
She does live several hundred miles away. That's a pretty big shoe.
"We can be wrong together," she tells him, bumping his shoulder with hers. She takes a sharp breath and watches him a moment, before ducking her head and letting her hair fall in front of her face. She wants to tell him how happy he makes her, how she doesn't want this to ever end, how she'd like to freeze any moment with him, including this one inside of a burger place, and just stay inside that moment. All of that seems like a lot though, so she doesn't say anything.
