Unfortunately, it's been days. Matt didn't realize Foggy was missing until he didn't show up for work. It took a little while to find him after that.
Of course, he's bait and don't think that Matt isn't beating himself up over that. He is someone important though, which is why Matt takes the bait.
He plans carefully and takes his time, trusting that Foggy will survive until Matt can get to him. Since he knows it's a trap, he also knows that he can't charge in unprepared. In Matt's opinion, by the time he gets there, Foggy has already spent way too long in captivity.
He's going to spend just a little bit longer because have we mentioned it's a trap? It takes Matt a little while to work through the people they've got staggered throughout the building. He dodges a few bullets, suppresses the urge to kill a person once or twice (particularly when he hears Foggy's labored breathing and smells his blood), knocks an ungodly number of people out and ties up the man responsible for it all. He'll wait to place an anonymous call to the cops until he's got Foggy untied and at least half out of here.
Matt steps out of the shadows. He's been beaten fairly good, but he can take a beating with the suit on. It's nothing unusual for him. There are no cuts that need stitches or broken bones that need set. He's not sure he can say the same for Foggy.
"That's where you're wrong," Matt says. "I'll always come for you." He steps up to the chair Foggy is tied to and gets a knife out to slice the tape. "Can you walk?"
