"I'm not a lame and boring kind of guy," Derek replied with a grin.

He laughs a little as she finishes assessing the situation aloud.  "Yeah, you don't want to come up with the wrong nickname. That would be embarrassing for both of us," he insists, picking up the new glass and holding it up with a little grin in response to her toast.

"To you coming up with the right nickname," Derek agrees before clinking his glad gently against hers and then proceeding to knock the drink back.
