It doesn't occur to Foggy to ask Matt to leave him here. It probably should. Maybe it makes sense for there to be someone that these guys were working on. Maybe actually having someone to testify about the hell they've put him through for the last couple of days means they can actually be locked away for it, but right now all he wants is to go home.
He feels a mixed reaction at Matt's words. On the one hand, he doesn't want Matt to have killed someone for him. Or for anyone. But on the other hand, he can't help but feel like it means that this man will go on to hurt other people. Not for the first time he understands the appeal of being able to do what Matt does. And the double edged sword of it. He can't end the pain and the violence. Not for good. But he can stop it for a little while.
He nods, knowing that Matt will somehow sense it, even if he can't see it. He's gotten used to that, even when before he had made a point of responding verbally or with touch whenever possible. Matt can see in his own way. Has always been able to. It's not as strange as it should be. "Sounds like a good plan," he says, reaching out to use the wall for support as he tries to take some of his weight off Matt. Just give me a second to..." He slumps against the wall, holding his hand to his side. "Catch my breath. I'll meet you there."
