It's probably not Foggy's imagination. Really, he's seen Matt in the morning; there's not a lot of difference between how he looks when he rolls out of bed and when he's beaten up a warehouse full of bad guys. Matt is not a morning person.

Matt is glad that Foggy doesn't argue with him when he helps him out of the car. Foggy needs the help. Matt is pretty sure he's cracked a few ribs, maybe broken his nose. He'll have to listen further.

"The bottle of aspirin I've got and an ACE bandage should take care of the ribs. I can offer a good bottle of whiskey too."
