"Sold," Foggy says as they make their way up the familiar stairway. He's never been more happy in his life to see Matt's front door, though he'll be even happier to see his couch. He leans against the wall as he allows Matt to open the door.
"Thanks," he murmurs, surprising himself. He pauses before continuing. "For coming."
It's not that he didn't think Matt would. He knew he would, just as much as the guys who had grabbed him did. It's just that he didn't know how much more he could've taken if Matt hadn't gotten there when he did.
"I guess being the Devil's best friend has it's perks."
