Matt winces sympathetically. He actually heard things shift with that laugh and muscles strain. That couch is an excellent recovery bed. Sometimes Matt thinks he spends more time sleeping there than he does in his own bed.

"You'd better not. Neither one of us wants Claire summoned," he warns jokingly as he presses a couple of aspirin into Foggy's hand and holds out the glass of scotch. "I'll text Karen and let her know that you're okay, but need the rest." After the awkwardness he and Karen have been going through, he doesn't need her over right now and he's fairly certain Foggy could do without two people hovering around him and awkwardly avoiding each other at the same time.

Once Foggy has the drink in hand, Matt retreats to the chair nearby and sits down. He didn't escape the rescue unscathed but his injuries are all very minor comprised mostly of aches and pains that will fade with a little rest and time. He sips at his own drink, silent for a moment. "Foggy...I'm sorry you got pulled into this. Turns out being Daredevil's friend isn't all perks."

He figures that Foggy knows that, but he is also aware that it's good to hear the words sometimes.
