Children are something that Dean has thought about since the first time he met Ben, a little boy that could have been his, a little boy that Lisa swore wasn't his. He'd just never thought he'd be able to settle down enough to have kids, never be able to protect his kids. At least with Kara, he doesn't have to be the only one that's protecting them. Demons are stupid, but they'd have to be really stupid to attack on Supergirl's territory. Dean would like to be able to help with the house, but unfortunately, he and Sam live pretty much hand to mouth, living by credit card fraud and what they can hustle in poker and pool games. He realizes he's going to have to come up with a more stable income, something that Kara can count on.

Yeah, explaining it to family and friends is going to be a little weird. Dean is lucky that he only has to tell Sam and Cas. As for Mon-el...maybe Dean should look into getting kryptonite bullets or tranquilizers. He wouldn't kill him, but it'd be nice to have something that would put him down if he decided to get jealous and weird.

He grins a little at her. "Yeah, I get it. I'm lucky I've got Sammy and Cas to handle things." He hasn't taken an actual vacation from hunting in a very long time. It might be nice to hang out around National City and not hunt for a few days.

It probably is going to be weird, but it's not like Dean hasn't had weird sex before...not weird like that...weird like--not the point. "Yeah--no, I mean, your place is fine. Probably better than a hotel. I'll drive up, plan to stay a few days, we'll--" he stops himself from saying 'go at it like rabbits' and rubs his forehead with one hand then takes a big swig of whiskey. "I could use a vacation. Maybe you'll get a few days off too."

It's obvious in her voice and in her face how much she hopes he'll say yes. He grins at her and nods. "Hell yeah, we're going to do this. We're going to be freaking awesome parents too."
