In spite of the endearing look that says that she actually does believe him, Kara still doesn't like the idea of sending Dean in as her backup. He's used to fighting things he understands; things he can research. People on Earth don't have the resources for researching the kinds of threats Kara goes up against the way that Dean does for the things he comes up against. The DEO is where Kara gets all of her intel, but Dean wouldn't have access to them. It's tricky, all around. "I'll think about it. My sister would probably have a cow if I sent someone she didn't know in to help her, though. J'onn could probably handle it," she says thoughtfully. Then she huffs a little laugh. "And he could look like me while he was doing it, if he wanted to. So, there's that."

Dean seems pretty determined to put his foot down if Sam tries to talk him out of this. Kara doesn't have that kind of faith in herself with Alex, so she's just...hoping she can do the same. Although, Alex might not actually try to talk her out of it so much as use some kind of reverse psychology or something to make Kara talk herself out of it...

"Well, hopefully it won't mean he hates me, afterward..."

Kara swallows thickly, eyes shifting briefly toward the motel before settling back on Dean. "I should let you sleep..." she realizes belatedly, considering how late it is at night.
