She usually isn't happy to see either of them. They rarely bring good things into her life, but if Foggy needs her, Matt would accept her scorn and irritation with him. He makes a 'whew' sort of sigh. "Thank God," he says with a bit of a chuckle.

He is moving a little stiffly; he's more than a little sore, but it's nothing a good drink and some rest won't cure. He takes a sip of his own drink, visbly relaxing.

That makes Matt swallow hard, choking down the emotion Foggy's words bring up. He nods, unable to respond verbally and Foggy is in far too much pain right now for a hug.

"I'll never stop being grateful you came back," Matt finally confesses. Foggy is really the only family he has left. "I'd do anything to keep you safe, Foggy. I just don't know how. I never did."
