Emily loves Lorelai and she knows that, but Emily is definitely scary. Almost everyone who's met her would agree. She would run Peter through the wringer and there would be nothing Lorelai could do about it. Eventually, she'll take Peter to dinner at the Gilmores because he has met every other important person in her life, though he should know, Rory was the most important person to meet.

"Chinese sounds good," she responds, tossing the words over her shoulder in the direction of the stairs. "We can watch Breakfast at Tiffany's with it's entirely un-PC Chinese portrayal."

They can have more pizza rolls with the Chinese. A smile curves her lips as he wraps his arms around her and she relaxes back against him with a soft, contented sigh. She is so in trouble when it comes to this man. "Hey, Sexy. How's it going?" she asks, finally turning in his arms to kiss him lightly.
